Over the course of a ten year relationship with the Discovery Channel I was responsible for the strategy, site design, coordination and implementation of over a dozen online content sites. This included Discovery Channel, Adventures, Discovery Pictures, Discovery International, Discovery Travel, the Discovery Channel Global Education Fund, Crocodile Hunter for Animal Planet, and Trauma: Life in the ER for TLC.

Focusing on the importance of creating sites to Discovery Channel’s core educational audience, an emphasis was placed on the abundance and variety of original online content; such as timely scientific information, daily dispatches from the field, and complementary content that supported and expanded the appeal of specials and shows.
