User Experience

UX Mapping, Block UI, Wireframes, Interactive Prototypes

Never has there been a more apparent need for understanding how people interact. Dynamic data driven sites, interactive television, rich media experiences, the coolest, gotta-have-it services and products on the market today have one thing in common—the user experience.

I have extensive experience with user-centered design best practices – from tackling the most complex transactional challenges to creating simple, easy-to-use mobile solutions. It’s during this phase all the components, features and content of the product or service will be identified. This includes site maps and functional flowcharts that categorizes content and interaction points, developing black & white user interface layouts that address relevant information and features such as navigation, branding logic, content structure and screen relationships. Interactive prototypes may be develop that show interactions and functional slices of the interface, demonstrating how specific tasks might be performed.

End-users are the ultimate arbiters of a site or an applications success. It's easy to forget, in a world of incredible possibility and infinite creativity, the power of simplicity and the importance of a solid user experience foundation.
